Sometimes I find it difficult to put my finger on how I feel or find the right words to describe it. Thank you for helping me figure it out but without putting pressure on me, I can’t think straight when I feel under pressure. Thanks for being so patient.
Email from a client during our work togetherI feel sad but excited. I will really miss our sessions and I must admit I’m a bit scared about how I will cope by myself but I have learned that I can do it. I know that anxiety will always be part of my life but it feels like it doesn’t swamp me anymore. It’s just one part of me, that is probably the biggest thing I have learned in therapy.
Card from a clientNothing can change what I’m going through but I don’t know how I’d have got through the last year without having you to talk to about it.
Email from a clientMy sessions with you have helped me realise things about myself. I am more at peace with myself and I am eager to develop more outside our sessions. Thank you for sitting through so many sessions of my ‘storytelling’ (even though I knew it wasn’t fulfilling the real purpose of counselling) until I was ready to really begin. I feel so much happier and am more positive about life.
Card from clientMore often than not I must sound like a stuck record but your support has been invaluable to me through this whole process and I just want to let you know how much I appreciate you being there for me each week.
Letter from an existing clientI’m just writing to let you know that I had a very meaningful session yesterday, for which I am deeply grateful. I felt listened to, held and accompanied by Jo. It was beautiful. So thank you for that.
